Miss Universe Botswana Finalists Empowered as Nation Brand Ambassadors. Brand Botswana, in partnership with the Ministry of Trade and Entrepreneurship, hosted the Miss Universe Botswana 2025 finalists in a dedicated Nation Brand workshop aimed at deepening their understanding of Botswana’s global positioning and their roles in championing the country’s image.
Held yesterday, the session focused on educating the finalists about the Botswana Investment and Trade Centre (BITC) mandate, the core principles of the Nation Brand, and how their participation in the Miss Universe platform can be harnessed to promote Botswana internationally.
The finalists were sensitized to the value of being more than just beauty queens. Through discussions and presentations, they explored how their voices, visibility, and influence can play a critical role in marketing Botswana’s investment opportunities, cultural richness, and national values on a global stage.
Brand Botswana officials highlighted the significance of consistent national messaging and encouraged the participants to embody the spirit of Botswana—its unity, innovation, and resilience—in all their engagements.
The Ministry of Trade and Entrepreneurship also played a key role in the workshop, offering an overview of its mandate and services. Officials underscored the Ministry’s support for youth empowerment, entrepreneurship development, and trade promotion, aligning these with the opportunities available through platforms such as Miss Universe Botswana.
The workshop forms part of a broader strategy to ensure that national representatives are equipped with the knowledge and tools necessary to be effective ambassadors both at home and abroad.
