President Boko Joins Global Jewellery Leaders at JCK Las Vegas Trade Show. President Duma Gideon Boko is representing Botswana at the 2025 Jewelers Circular Keystone (JCK) Trade Show, taking place from 4–10 June in Las Vegas. The annual event is the world’s largest jewellery trade gathering, bringing together over 30,000 stakeholders from across the value chain.
Now in its third decade, the JCK Trade Show serves as a key global marketplace for the jewellery industry, offering opportunities for trade, networking, innovation and knowledge exchange. The 2025 edition is themed “Decades: Celebrating Jewellery and Fashion Styles from Different Eras.”
President Boko is joined by Minister of Minerals and Energy, Honourable Bogolo Kenewendo, and senior government officials. Their participation underscores Botswana’s strategic role as a key player in the global diamond industry and its continued commitment to expanding downstream beneficiation and value addition in the sector.
For Botswana entrepreneurs in jewellery, minerals, and fashion-related businesses, the JCK platform provides important insights into international market trends, consumer behaviour, and potential trade partnerships. Botswana’s presence at the event also signals the country’s ambition to move up the value chain, encouraging local design, branding, and finished product development rooted in Botswana’s mineral wealth.
Beyond the showroom floor, the JCK Show hosts seminars, trend forecasting sessions, and technology showcases that offer valuable knowledge for Botswana’s emerging jewellery designers and manufacturers.
As global demand continues to shift toward ethical sourcing and sustainability, Botswana’s natural diamonds, coupled with its political stability and governance record, position the country as a competitive and credible source market.
