Orange Botswana Raises Orange Money Limit to P50,000. Orange Botswana has announced an increase in the monthly transaction limit for its Orange Money service, raising the cap from P30,000 to P50,000.
The company shared the update this week, noting that the adjustment is intended to improve convenience for customers who rely on the mobile money platform for everyday financial activities. Orange Money enables users to send and receive funds, pay bills, and purchase goods and services directly from their mobile phones.
In its statement, Orange Botswana emphasized the upgrade as part of its ongoing efforts to expand digital financial services in the country. “Your Orange Money monthly account limit got an upgrade. Transact up to P50,000 a month from P30,000 per month,” the company said.
The increase is expected to benefit both individuals and small businesses that depend on mobile transactions for their operations. With the growing demand for cashless solutions, the higher limit provides greater flexibility for users managing larger volumes of payments and transfers.
Orange Botswana continues to strengthen its role in the digital economy by enhancing access to secure and efficient financial services. The company’s investment in mobile money reflects broader trends in Botswana, where digital platforms are increasingly shaping how communities and businesses handle financial transactions.
By raising the Orange Money limit, Orange Botswana positions itself to meet the evolving needs of its customers while supporting the country’s shift toward more inclusive and technology-driven financial solutions.
