ODC Welcomes Elders for Diamond Educational Tour. The Okavango Diamond Company (ODC) recently hosted a delegation of 39 senior citizens from the Sylast Foundation at its headquarters in the Diamond Technology Park, as part of its ongoing community outreach and social responsibility initiatives.

The visit offered guests an interactive Diamond Educational Tour, providing insights into Botswana’s diamond journey — from discovery and sorting to valuation and market perspectives. The tour highlighted the critical role diamonds play in national development, community upliftment, and Botswana’s global reputation.

ODC expressed appreciation for the enthusiasm and curiosity shown by the visitors, noting that their active participation underscored the value of lifelong learning. The company emphasized that education is not limited by age, reflecting the Setswana saying “thuto ga e golelwe” — learning has no boundaries.
