MTN Business Botswana Rebrands as Seriteq Business Solutions. MTN Business Botswana has officially rebranded to Seriteq Business Solutions, marking a strategic shift toward enterprise-focused digital services and infrastructure leadership. The new identity was unveiled at a formal launch attended by the Minister of Communications and Innovation, David Tshere, alongside industry stakeholders and partners.

Board Chair Dzene Makhwade-Seboni described the transition as a natural evolution of the company’s growth, noting that the rebrand strengthens its ability to lead in an increasingly complex digital environment.

She emphasized that the change reflects the company’s readiness to meet the demands of modern enterprises.Managing Director Bogosi Gabonnwe explained that the rebrand is more than a cosmetic update. Instead, it represents a deliberate repositioning of the business, sharpening its focus on enterprise cloud solutions, secure connectivity, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, and scalable digital infrastructure.

The name Seriteq is derived from Seriti, a Setswana concept signifying dignity and earned respect, combined with technology to reflect innovation. The company’s new payoff line, “Local Spirit. Global Technology”, underscores its intention to deliver internationally benchmarked digital solutions while remaining firmly rooted in Botswana.

Seriteq Business Solutions has committed to supporting Botswana’s economic diversification agenda by providing digital infrastructure across key sectors, including fintech, agritech, tourism, manufacturing, and SMEs. The company highlighted that existing contracts and client relationships remain unaffected by the rebrand, ensuring continuity for current customers.
