MIT KSC and Botswana Launch 2026 Early-Stage Program. Applications are officially open for the MIT Kuo Sharper Center for Prosperity and Entrepreneurship (KSC) 2026 Botswana Early-Stage Program, a 12-week initiative designed to empower emerging entrepreneurs in Botswana.

The program, delivered in collaboration with the Botswana Digital Innovation Hub (BDIH) and supported by the Government of the Republic of Botswana, aims to nurture founders who are tackling real-world challenges with innovative solutions.

Open to individuals based in Botswana, the program welcomes applicants at both the idea stage and piloting stage of their ventures. Selected participants will gain access to training and mentorship from MIT faculty, KSC staff, industry experts, and ecosystem leaders.

A highlight of the program will be the Demo Day, where participants will present their ventures to potential investors, partners, and collaborators. This event is intended to provide exposure and networking opportunities that could accelerate the growth of promising startups.

Applications close on June 7, 2026, and interested entrepreneurs can apply through the official portal: Application Link.

This initiative reflects a growing emphasis on fostering innovation-driven entrepreneurship in Botswana, with international collaboration providing local founders the tools, mentorship, and networks needed to scale their ideas.
