Local Service Providers Invited to Submit Quotations for Khawa Dune Challenge 2025. Inception Communications (Pty) Ltd, on behalf of the Botswana Tourism Organisation, has issued a formal Request for Quotations (RFQs) for event service providers to support the upcoming Khawa Dune Challenge & Cultural Festival, scheduled for 27–29 June 2025 in Khawa.
The call invites Botswana citizen-owned companies to submit quotations for the supply, delivery, and full setup of event tents and public address (PA) systems for the annual festival. The RFQ outlines specific requirements for two event tents and audio-visual services tailored for the festival’s Cultural Night on 27 June.
The tent requirements include:Exhibition Tent (10m x 24m) for 27 & 28 June, featuring full draping, green carpet, lighting, and furniture for display setup.VIP Viewing Tent (10m x 24m) for 27 June, with cinema-style tub chairs for dignitaries and full lighting and draping.
The PA System requirements focus on Cultural Night performances and include:A complete sound system suitable for polka groups, traditional dance groups, and poets.Accessories such as three cordless microphones with mic stands and a podium.
Interested service providers must submit detailed proposals inclusive of all costs—setup, delivery, and breakdown. Applicants are also expected to demonstrate proven capacity and prior experience handling large-scale cultural or outdoor events.
