Letlole La Rona Limited (LLR) has announced the resignation of Chief Executive Officer Kamogelo Mowaneng, effective 3 November 2025, marking a leadership transition at one of Botswana’s key listed property investment companies.
To ensure stability and continuity, Chief Financial Officer Rorisang Modikana has been appointed as Interim CEO. With more than two decades of experience in finance, strategy, risk management, and corporate governance, Modikana is well-positioned to steer LLR during the transition period.
Board Chairperson Khuto Balosang expressed confidence in Modikana’s leadership, saying the interim appointment ensures that the company remains focused on executing its strategic objectives and maintaining operational momentum. “Rorisang’s extensive experience and understanding of the business will be vital as we continue to build on our growth trajectory,” Balosang said.
Under Mowaneng’s tenure, Letlole La Rona strengthened its investment portfolio and reinforced its position within Botswana’s property sector. Her departure marks a significant change for the company, which has been focused on delivering shareholder value and expanding its footprint within the regional property investment market.
The board also extended its appreciation to Mowaneng for her leadership and contribution to LLR’s progress, wishing her well in her future endeavours.
