LEA Invites Food Entrepreneurs to Apply for Pilane Business Incubation Programme. The Local Enterprise Authority (LEA) has announced a call for applications to its Business Incubation Programme at the Pilane Multi-Purpose Business Incubator, targeting aspiring and existing food processing entrepreneurs.

The programme is designed to support early-stage and growing businesses by providing affordable operational space and comprehensive business development services. Its goal is to accelerate growth and sustainability, helping participants establish themselves as commercially viable food processing enterprises. The incubation runs for a maximum of two years, based on a renewable one-year lease agreement.

Applicants are required to submit a business plan proposal that includes a detailed operational and production plan, marketing strategy with evidence of market access, proof of funding, historical and projected financial statements, certified company registration documents, compliance records, and personal identification documents. A cover letter outlining the reasons for seeking incubation is also mandatory.

Applications can be submitted in person at the incubator in Pilane or via email to pmbi@lea.co.bw. The closing date is 31 June 2026, and late submissions will not be accepted.
