Hon. Moeti Mohwasa to Address Wilderness Local Suppliers’ Expo in Maun. The Wilderness Local Suppliers’ Expo returns for its second edition on 26 June 2025, with Honourable Moeti Mohwasa, Minister of State President, confirmed as the guest speaker. The highly anticipated event will take place at the Wilderness Safaris offices in Maun and will spotlight over 70 local suppliers showcasing Botswana-made goods and services.

Organised to strengthen the link between local businesses and Botswana’s tourism value chain, the Expo offers a unique platform for entrepreneurs to connect with procurement teams, industry stakeholders, and support institutions. From food production to textiles, logistics to eco-products, the event celebrates innovation, quality, and homegrown enterprise.

The 2025 edition is held in collaboration with key partners including the Local Enterprise Authority (LEA), Botswana Investment and Trade Centre (BITC), Citizen Entrepreneurial Development Agency (CEDA), Cresta Riley’s, ProLearn Institute, Stanbic Bank, and Water Africa. Also supporting the initiative is the #PushaBW movement, which champions local economic participation.

Minister Mohwasa’s presence underscores government’s commitment to inclusive economic growth and enterprise development. His keynote address is expected to highlight the importance of empowering citizen-owned businesses and fostering sustainable partnerships within key sectors such as tourism and agriculture.
