Hollard Life Botswana Finalizes Full Acquisition of Absa Life Botswana. Hollard Life Botswana has officially completed its acquisition of Absa Life Botswana, marking a significant milestone in the country’s insurance sector.

The deal includes the full transfer of 100% of Absa Group’s shareholding in Absa Life Botswana to Hollard Life Botswana. With the transaction finalized, the Absa Life Botswana insurance team will now be integrated into Hollard Life Botswana’s operations.

Tabuya Tau, Managing Director of Hollard Life Botswana, described the acquisition as a strategic move aligned with the company’s expansion goals. “By integrating Absa Life’s expertise and client base with our own, we are better positioned to fulfill our core purpose of enabling more Batswana to secure their financial futures,” Tau stated.

The acquisition also reinforces Hollard’s broader commitment to making a meaningful impact within the communities it serves.
