Global Expo Botswana 2025 Set to Strengthen Trade and Investment Opportunities. Global Expo Botswana (GEB) 2025 is gearing up to play a pivotal role in advancing the country’s economic diversification and transformation agenda. Organised annually by the Botswana Investment and Trade Centre (BITC), the Expo has, since 2006, grown into one of Southern Africa’s leading platforms for trade, investment, and business networking.

Now in its 18th edition, the Expo is expected to attract more than 300 exhibitors, 250 delegates, and 3,000 visitors from across Africa and beyond. Entrepreneurs, policymakers, and investors will convene in Gaborone to explore opportunities, forge partnerships, and engage in discussions that align with Botswana’s Economic Transformation Program.

One of this year’s biggest highlights is the inaugural Pula Investment Conference, designed to connect Botswana’s priority projects with global investors, development finance institutions, and project sponsors. Additionally, a day dedicated to entrepreneurship and the creative industries will provide a platform for small businesses and innovators to showcase their solutions.

High-level panel sessions, deal rooms, live project pitches, and the Business Matchmaking Programme will ensure participants leave with more than just exposure—they will have access to real business opportunities. For Botswana’s entrepreneurs, these sessions provide a chance to connect with potential buyers, financiers, and partners from both regional and international markets.

The 2025 edition will also shine a spotlight on key growth sectors, including infrastructure, agriculture, tourism, energy, mining, ICT, and financial services. SMMEs will gain visibility through the #PushaBW/Brand Botswana Marketplace, reinforcing the Expo’s commitment to inclusive growth and empowering local businesses.

As Botswana positions itself as a gateway for trade and investment in the region, Global Expo Botswana remains a strategic tool for driving innovation, creating jobs, and attracting investment capital.
