Food Forage (Pty) Ltd, a 100% citizen-owned company founded by three young women, is making strides in transforming Botswana’s food processing landscape. Specializing in food science, technology, and economics, the company is on a mission to reduce the country’s reliance on imported food products while promoting sustainable agriculture and local value addition.
Registered in 2017, Food Forage was established to address the gaps in Botswana’s agro-processing sector by offering innovative, home-grown food and beverage products. The company operates out of the LEA Pilane Incubation Facility in Old Naledi, Gaborone.
