FNBB Foundation and NACB Empower Youth Through Bodiragtsi Jwame 4.0. The FNB Botswana Foundation has partnered with the National Arts Council of Botswana (NACB) and the Ministry of Child Welfare & Basic Education to launch the fourth edition of Bodiragtsi Jwame, a national initiative aimed at nurturing young creative talent. The Memorandum of Understanding was officially signed on Tuesday, 5 May 2026.

With an investment of P2 million, Bodiragtsi Jwame 4.0 provides a platform for young people aged 13 to 17 to showcase their skills in art, music, poetry, and dance. Beyond celebrating creativity, the programme is designed to create pathways for skill development, exposure, and access to opportunities that can support long-term growth.

The Council expressed gratitude to its partners, highlighting the importance of strategic collaboration in empowering young creatives, fostering grassroots talent, and strengthening Botswana’s creative industry ecosystem. The initiative reflects a growing recognition of the arts as a driver of both cultural identity and economic opportunity.

By investing in youth creativity, Bodiragtsi Jwame 4.0 underscores the role of partnerships in shaping Botswana’s future. It provides a structured platform for young people to develop their talents while contributing to the broader vision of building a resilient and dynamic creative sector.
