Final Call for Women in Tech: Botswana’s Next Innovators Urged to Apply. Aspiring women tech entrepreneurs across Botswana are being encouraged to submit their applications for the Standard Chartered Women in Tech (WiT) Incubator Programme before the 31 May 2025 deadline.

The initiative aims to support Botswana’s next generation of women-led startups in the technology space by offering them a platform to develop, scale, and refine their business ideas through a competitive and structured incubator. Interested applicants can apply via the official link: https://forms.gle/QKV8YoUoe3heKdee7.

With the slogan “Innovate. Lead. Inspire.”, the programme targets women with transformative digital or technology-driven business solutions that can contribute to Botswana’s socio-economic development. The call is open to entrepreneurs from all regions of the country, provided their businesses are female-led and technology-based.

Participants selected into the incubator will gain access to structured training, business development support, mentorship, and a chance to pitch their ideas to potential investors. The programme forms part of Standard Chartered’s broader commitment to fostering innovation, inclusivity, and sustainable growth within Botswana’s entrepreneurial ecosystem.

The Women in Tech initiative has already seen success in several countries, helping participants bring their products to market, secure funding, and build sustainable ventures. In Botswana, the programme presents an opportunity to bridge the gender gap in tech entrepreneurship and foster a stronger pipeline of women innovators.
