CANEX Opens Applications for African Designers to Showcase in Paris. The Creative Africa Nexus (CANEX) has announced that applications are now open for African and diaspora fashion designers to participate in CANEX Presents Africa at TRANOÏ, a curated pavilion at Paris Fashion Week. The initiative offers designers the opportunity to showcase their Spring/Summer 2027 collections on one of the world’s most prestigious fashion stages.
The programme, supported by Afreximbank, is designed to help African creatives expand their reach and gain international visibility. Successful applicants will benefit from dedicated sales support during the event, access to TRANOÏ’s global network of buyers, retailers, and media partners, and promotion through CANEX and Afreximbank’s communications platforms.
Applications close on 31 May 2026, with late submissions not considered. Designers selected for the programme will be expected to cover their own participation costs, including travel, accommodation, visa fees, and logistics.
CANEX Presents Africa at TRANOÏ has become a key platform for African fashion designers seeking to take their brands global. By connecting creatives with international buyers and media, the initiative strengthens Africa’s presence in the global fashion industry while supporting economic diversification through the creative sector.
Organisers emphasized that the opportunity is not only about visibility but also about building sustainable business connections. Designers will have the chance to engage directly with industry stakeholders, positioning themselves for long-term growth in international markets.
Interested designers can view full eligibility criteria and apply via TRANOÏ’s official website.
