BTO Partners with Oneal R&B Orchestral Showcase to Strengthen Botswana’s Creative Tourism Landscape. Botswana Tourism Organisation (BTO) has announced a new partnership with the upcoming Oneal R&B Orchestral Showcase, positioning the event as a key addition to the country’s growing portfolio of creative and lifestyle-driven tourism offerings. The showcase will take place on 28 November 2025 at the Gaborone International Convention Centre (GICC).
Curated by DJ OnealAfrica, the Oneal R&B Orchestral Showcase is set to bring together orchestral arrangements, R&B music, and cultural expression in a format not previously staged in Botswana. The event will feature performers from Botswana and South Africa, creating an opportunity to attract domestic and regional visitors seeking premium entertainment experiences.
For Botswana’s business and entrepreneurial community, the partnership highlights the increasing role of the creative sector in driving tourism, stimulating local value chains, and strengthening Gaborone’s position as a competitive urban destination. With an expected attendance of more than 1,000 guests, the showcase is anticipated to boost weekend economic activity across hospitality, food services, event production, and retail.
BTO’s involvement aligns with its broader objective to diversify Botswana’s tourism offerings beyond traditional nature-based attractions. The organisation continues to promote events that reflect the country’s modern cultural identity while supporting collaborations that elevate the visitor experience.
Industry observers note that creative events of this scale offer opportunities for local entrepreneurs in logistics, catering, staging, fashion, tech, and experiential services to plug into a growing ecosystem of urban tourism experiences.
