Botswana Power Corporation (BPC) is showcasing its role in Botswana’s electricity sector at the ongoing Botswana Consumer Fair, where exhibitors are presenting products, services and initiatives under the theme “Showcasing Botswana in Full Color.”

The state-owned power utility is participating on the second day of the annual event, inviting visitors to engage with its representatives and learn more about the role of electricity in the country’s development.

BPC is exhibiting at stalls D192, D193 and D194, where visitors can interact with the organisation’s team during the Consumer Fair.

The participation provides BPC with an opportunity to engage directly with members of the public and other stakeholders attending the event.

BPC describes electricity as an important part of Botswana’s growth, development and prosperity, with its Consumer Fair presence focused on showcasing how the power sector contributes to the country.

Established in 1970, BPC is responsible for electricity generation, transmission and distribution in Botswana. Its mandate covers key components of the country’s electricity supply system.

The Botswana Consumer Fair brings together exhibitors from different sectors, providing businesses, organisations and other participants with an opportunity to present their offerings to visitors.

BPC’s participation forms part of the organisation’s engagement with the public at the event, while the exhibition stalls provide a platform for visitors to learn more about the corporation and its activities.

The Consumer Fair is being held under the theme “Showcasing Botswana in Full Color”, with exhibitors using the event to highlight their products, services and contributions to the country.

BPC has encouraged visitors attending the fair to visit its three exhibition stalls and engage with its team.
