Botswana Showcases Trade Strength at Zimbabwe International Trade Fair. Botswana has marked a strong presence at the Zimbabwe International Trade Fair (ZITF) 2026, with a delegation led by the Botswana Investment and Trade Centre (BITC) in partnership with the Botswana Embassy in Harare.
Operating under the theme “Connected Economies, Competitive Industries,” Botswana’s participation highlights the country’s export potential and investment appeal. The delegation includes 18 exhibitors and 22 businesses, many of which are also engaging in the Zimbabwe Botswana Business Forum, ensuring that the impact extends beyond the exhibition floor into concrete trade and collaboration opportunities.
Support from the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) has further strengthened Botswana’s presence, underscoring the importance of international partnerships in driving regional economic integration.
The fair will be officially opened by President Advocate Duma Gideon Boko, a moment that reflects the growing economic ties between Botswana and Zimbabwe. The event is expected to draw significant attention to Botswana’s industries and provide a platform for businesses to expand their networks and explore new markets.
Botswana’s involvement at ZITF 2026 demonstrates its determination to position local industries competitively within the regional and global economy. By combining exhibition, dialogue, and strategic partnerships, the country is leveraging the fair as a platform to push forward its trade and investment agenda.
