Botswana Savings Bank Opens Cleaning Services Tender to Citizen-Owned Companies. Botswana Savings Bank has issued a Request for Proposal (RFP) inviting 100 percent citizen-owned companies to bid for the provision of cleaning services to the institution.

The tender process officially opened on 27 April 2026, with documents made available online through the bank’s procurement portal. Interested bidders are required to access the materials in digital format, as only soft copies of the tender documents will be provided.

As part of the application process, companies must pay a stipulated tender fee and submit proof of payment to the bank’s procurement unit via email. This step is required before their submissions can be considered. The opportunity is specifically reserved for fully citizen-owned businesses, reinforcing a focus on local participation in procurement activities. By limiting eligibility in this way, the bank is directing the opportunity toward companies that are entirely owned by Botswana citizens.

The release of the RFP signals an upcoming procurement process aimed at securing cleaning service providers for the bank’s operations. Companies that meet the eligibility criteria and complete the required steps will be able to submit their proposals for consideration.

Botswana Savings Bank has encouraged interested parties to follow the outlined process carefully to ensure compliance with all submission requirements. The tender forms part of the bank’s broader operational needs, with the selection process expected to identify a suitable service provider from among qualifying local businesses.
