Botswana Prepares for 2025 National Agricultural Show in August. The Ministry of Lands and Agriculture has officially announced the 2025 edition of the National Agricultural Show, set to take place from 18 to 24 August at the National Agricultural Show Grounds in Sebele.

This year’s show will be held under the theme: “Enhancing Agricultural Productivity Through Utilization of Modern Technologies.” The event is expected to spotlight innovations in the agricultural sector and provide a valuable platform for farmers, agri-entrepreneurs, and agribusiness stakeholders to engage with the latest trends shaping the industry.

The National Agricultural Show is a significant annual event in Botswana’s agricultural calendar, bringing together producers, technology providers, financial institutions, and policymakers. The 2025 theme reflects the growing role of digital and mechanised solutions in tackling productivity challenges in farming and related industries.

Various exhibits are anticipated to showcase cutting-edge farming equipment, precision agriculture tools, irrigation solutions, livestock management systems, and sustainable farming practices. The show also creates networking opportunities for local entrepreneurs, cooperatives, and suppliers looking to scale their operations or find partnerships.

Key sponsors supporting this year’s event include Absa, Minet, Haskins, and Agri-Acres — a sign of ongoing private sector commitment to agricultural development.

Botswana-based entrepreneurs and agribusinesses are encouraged to participate, whether to exhibit their innovations, learn from others, or engage with decision-makers. For many, the show represents a strategic opportunity to tap into national efforts aimed at food security, rural development, and economic diversification.

With preparations underway, the 2025 National Agricultural Show is shaping up to be a key engagement point for the country’s agricultural community and those seeking growth through modernised farming.
