Botswana Exporters Invited to Join Virtual Buyer Engagement with Namibia. Botswana companies with export-ready products have been invited to participate in a Botswana-Namibia “Meet the Buyer” Virtual Mission organised by the Botswana Investment and Trade Centre in collaboration with GS1 Namibia.

The initiative is designed to create direct linkages between Botswana producers and suppliers and established buyers and distributors based in Namibia. According to the organisers, the virtual mission will provide a structured platform for engagement, enabling participating companies to present their products and explore potential market access opportunities.

The Botswana Investment and Trade Centre said the mission targets businesses that are prepared to supply external markets and are seeking to expand their footprint beyond national borders. Through the virtual format, companies will be able to interact with Namibian buyers without the need for physical travel.

GS1 Namibia is collaborating on the initiative to facilitate connections within Namibia’s retail and distribution networks. The partnership aims to streamline engagement between suppliers and buyers by using an organised online platform.

Interested companies are required to submit an Expression of Interest to be considered for participation. The deadline for submissions is Wednesday, February 18, 2026, at 17h00.

The virtual mission forms part of ongoing efforts to promote regional trade linkages and support export development among Botswana-based enterprises.BITC and GS1 Namibia said the initiative is open to qualifying producers and suppliers seeking structured buyer engagement within the Namibian market space.
