BITC Invites Businesses to Join #PushaBW Showcase in Francistown. The Botswana Investment and Trade Centre (BITC) has announced an open call for businesses, entrepreneurs, and local companies to express interest in participating in the upcoming BITC National Roadshow Forum and #PushaBW Showcase. The event is set for 20 May 2025 at Cresta Thapama Hotel in Francistown, running from 08:30 to 14:00.
Designed as a platform to promote locally made products, the one-day forum will focus on enhancing connections between producers, retailers, and potential buyers. BITC aims to encourage business-to-business engagement, strengthen collaboration among local enterprises, and support the visibility of homegrown goods in the national market.
Participants will have the opportunity to profile their products, engage directly with major retailers, and explore business development prospects. The forum also seeks to boost product uptake and increase the presence of local brands on digital platforms.
To be considered for the showcase, submissions will be evaluated on key criteria including product quality, packaging design, market potential, and digital visibility. Commitment to growth and the capacity to meet the demands of major retailers will also influence selection. Entries will be assessed on a first-come, first-served basis.
Interested businesses must submit an expression of interest by 16 May 2025. Required details include the company’s profile, contact information, areas of interest, and specific goals for participating in the showcase. Submissions should be clearly marked and sent to barekio@bitc.co.bw and lekobat@bitc.co.bw.
