BITC Backs Compton Fashion Week Botswana 2026 to Boost Creative Industry. The Botswana Investment and Trade Centre (BITC), through its Brand Botswana initiative, has partnered with Compton Fashion Week Botswana 2026 as part of ongoing efforts to support the country’s growing creative economy and promote local talent.

The two-day event will take place on 1 and 2 August 2026 at Molapo Crossing Piazza in Gaborone, bringing together participants from the fashion, modelling, music and creative entrepreneurship sectors.

According to BITC, the partnership forms part of its broader commitment to strengthening Botswana’s creative industries by creating platforms that showcase local skills, innovation and artistic talent.

As part of its involvement, BITC has facilitated collaborations between Compton Fashion Week Botswana, KGK Diamonds and the Oodi College of Applied Arts and Technology. The partnerships are expected to highlight Botswana’s creative capabilities through fashion, handcrafted jewellery and design.

The event will provide designers, models and other creatives with an opportunity to present their work while engaging with audiences and industry stakeholders.

BITC said supporting initiatives such as Compton Fashion Week Botswana aligns with its efforts to promote locally produced products and services while encouraging the growth of creative enterprises.

The collaboration also seeks to showcase the diversity of Botswana’s creative sector by bringing together institutions and businesses that contribute to the development of fashion and design.

Through the participation of KGK Diamonds and the Oodi College of Applied Arts and Technology, visitors will have an opportunity to experience locally inspired craftsmanship and design alongside fashion collections presented during the event.

Compton Fashion Week Botswana 2026 is expected to celebrate emerging and established talent across multiple creative disciplines, creating a platform for collaboration and exposure within the industry.
