BITC and SPEDU Invite Businesses to Register for #PushaBW National Roadshow Forum in Selebi Phikwe. The Botswana Investment and Trade Centre (BITC), in partnership with the Selebi Phikwe Economic Diversification Unit (SPEDU), has issued a call for expressions of interest from businesses eager to participate in the upcoming #PushaBW Product Showcase and National Roadshow Forum.
Scheduled for 13 May 2025 at Hotel Selebi in Selebi Phikwe, the event will run from 08:30 to 14:00 and is designed to strengthen engagement between local producers, major retailers, and potential buyers. The one-day forum is part of ongoing efforts to promote local content and drive economic collaboration across Botswana’s business sectors.
The event objectives include creating opportunities for business-to-business engagements, enhancing visibility for locally made products, and encouraging cooperation between local enterprises. It also aims to connect producers with large-scale retailers to increase product exposure and uptake.
Organizers have outlined clear selection criteria for businesses interested in showcasing their products. These include product quality, packaging aesthetics, commitment to the #PushaBW initiative, ability to scale into major retail outlets, and digital marketing readiness. The selection process will be based on a first-come-first-served basis.
Interested companies must submit details including their profiles, representative contacts, product categories, and expected outcomes. All expressions of interest must be submitted to BITC and SPEDU by 11 May 2025.
This initiative underscores BITC and SPEDU’s joint commitment to strengthening Botswana’s local production landscape through meaningful engagement, visibility, and market linkages.
