Bio Farms and Sefalana Partner to Expand Nutribyte Pet Care Distribution Nationwide. Bio Farms has announced a strategic partnership with Sefalana to distribute Nutribyte Pet Care Products across Botswana, strengthening access to premium, science-based pet nutrition through one of the country’s largest retail networks.

The collaboration marks Nutribyte’s official return to the Botswana market, following a successful pilot launch during the COVID-19 period. Now under Bio Farms’ ownership, the brand aligns with the company’s mission to promote animal health and wellness through scientifically formulated diets that meet international standards.

The Nutribyte product line includes Adult Maintenance, Large Breed Puppy, Small Breed Puppy, and SB Adult Maintenance diets — each developed with veterinary input to support optimal digestion, immunity, and coat condition.

Bio Farms Business Development Officer Rozelle Taljaard said the products are manufactured in HACCP-approved, ISO-certified facilities, ensuring premium quality and consistency. “Our formulations use functional nutrients like prebiotics, beta glucans, and omega fatty acids to deliver complete nutrition that’s scientifically backed yet affordable,” she explained.

Through the partnership, Nutribyte will be stocked at major Sefalana branches including Block 3, G/West Industrial, Commerce Park, Mogoditshane, Nkoyaphiri, Crossing Mall, Molapo Crossing, Setlhoa, and Broadhurst.

In addition, Bio Farms and its local partner Mosotswana Distributors are extending their community engagement by sponsoring the Botswana Boerboel Show and Appraisal, taking place from 7–8 November 2025 at Nelly’s Garden in Mmanoko.

Mosotswana Distributors Director Sello Motseta highlighted the role of proper nutrition in animal care. “As a SABBS-registered Boerboel breeder, I understand the importance of diet balance — especially for large breeds. Our formulas, like Natural Endurance and Mother Miracle, meet those needs,” he said.
