BoFiNet Reports P376 Million Revenue as It Highlights Digital Infrastructure Role. Botswana Fibre Networks (BoFiNet) reported revenue of P376 million as the company highlighted its financial performance, governance and role in Botswana’s digital transformation at its Annual General Meeting.

The AGM was held in Gaborone on Thursday, 13 August 2026, bringing together the government, represented by Minister of Communications and Innovation David Tshere, BoFiNet’s Board, executive management and other stakeholders.

A key development presented at the meeting was BoFiNet’s first Integrated Report. The report reflects the company’s focus on reporting, transparency and governance.BoFiNet Chief Executive Officer Dr Geoffrey Seleka said the organisation remains central to Botswana’s digital transformation.

He also highlighted the Digital Delta Data Centre as a strategic asset for data sovereignty and future revenue diversification.

The company reported 99.7% service availability across its national fibre backbone, reflecting the reported performance of its network infrastructure.

BoFiNet also remains among Botswana’s profitable state-owned enterprises operating without government subvention, according to the information presented at the AGM.

The company’s reported financial performance comes alongside its continued focus on infrastructure and digital connectivity as part of its national mandate.

The AGM provided an opportunity for BoFiNet to review its performance and strategic direction with government representatives, its Board, management and other stakeholders.

The presentation of the Integrated Report marked another element of the company’s approach to accountability and corporate governance.

BoFiNet’s reported revenue of P376 million and service availability of 99.7% formed part of the performance information shared at the meeting.

The company also reiterated its focus on sustainable value creation and financial sustainability while continuing to fulfil its role within Botswana’s telecommunications infrastructure.
