Lucara Reports US$41 Million Q2 Revenue as Karowe Delivers High-Value Diamonds. Lucara Diamond Corp. recorded US$41 million in revenue during the second quarter of 2026, with its Karowe Diamond Mine in Botswana continuing to deliver production and recover high-value diamonds.
The company recovered 90,082 carats during the quarter, while operating costs were reported at US$23.76 per tonne processed.Lucara has maintained its full-year revenue guidance of between US$100 million and US$130 million, according to the company’s latest update.
The quarter also included the recovery of another exceptionally large diamond from Karowe. Lucara said the mine produced its tenth diamond weighing more than 1,000 carats, a D-colour, Type IIa white diamond.
President and CEO William Lamb said the recovery highlighted the quality of the Karowe resource.
The latest large diamond adds to Karowe’s record of producing exceptional stones and comes as Lucara continues work on the mine’s planned underground expansion.
The company remains focused on the safe and timely development of the Karowe Underground Project (UGP). The project is intended to provide access to high-value sections of the Karowe orebody and support the mine’s longer-term production.
The underground project is expected to extend the life of the Karowe Diamond Mine, with Lucara continuing to advance construction and development activities.
During the second quarter, the mine’s performance contributed to the company’s reported revenue while diamond recoveries remained a key feature of operations.
Lucara’s continued full-year revenue guidance indicates that the company has retained its existing outlook for 2026 despite the developments reported during the quarter.
