Betway Sponsors Clash of Legends with P1.5 Million Boost. Betway has announced a sponsorship of P1.5 million for the fourth edition of the Clash of Legends, set to take place on 20 June 2026 at the Botswana National Stadium.

The highly anticipated event will reunite former football stars from Mochudi Centre Chiefs, Township Rollers, Orlando Pirates, and Kaizer Chiefs on the pitch, promising a blend of nostalgia, celebration, and charity. Fans will have the opportunity to relive iconic moments while supporting a cause that uplifts retired players and communities.

Speaking on the sponsorship, Betway Country Director Michelle France-Mabiletsa said the initiative is aimed at restoring dignity to retired football players who often face challenges after their playing careers end.“This event will restore their dignity, socially and financially, while proving that class is permanent,” she said.

Proceeds from the Clash of Legends will go towards charity, with beneficiaries to be announced soon. Organizers emphasized that the event is not only about entertainment but also about giving back to society and ensuring that former athletes are celebrated for their contributions to the sport
