EUNIC Opens Call for Innovative Cultural Projects in AAfrica. The European Union National Institutes for Culture (EUNIC) has launched the second Spaces of Culture 2026 call for proposals, inviting applications for innovative cultural relations projects across Sub-Saharan Africa.

The programme supports initiatives in diverse areas including the arts, creative industries, digitalisation, education, heritage, human rights, social inclusion, sustainability, tourism, and youth engagement. Proposals are expected to focus on dialogue, co-creation, mutual learning, and equal collaboration between African and European partners.

Eligible projects must be developed through a triangular partnership involving local cultural or civil society organisations, EUNIC members, and an EU Delegation. Successful applicants will receive funding of up to EUR 50,000 per project, with a minimum 5% co-funding contribution required from partners.
