Africa-Europe Partnerships Open Call for Visual Arts Collaboration. A new opportunity has been announced under the Africa-Europe Partnerships for Culture, with the launch of a call for proposals focused on Visual Arts – Artistic Collaboration and Dissemination projects. The initiative is part of the Sub-Saharan Africa component and aims to strengthen co-creation, co-production, and dissemination across borders.

The call is designed to support teams of at least two people, comprising visual artists or professionals in visual arts disciplines, who are currently based in Sub-Saharan Africa or the European Union. Successful applicants will undertake collaborative projects that result in publicly presented work, reinforcing cultural exchange and artistic innovation.

Key areas of support include:

• Cultural policy development to strengthen governance frameworks.
• Creative entrepreneurship to empower artists and small enterprises.
• Market access for cultural goods and services.
• Inclusion and participation to ensure diverse communities benefit from cultural engagement.

To assist potential applicants, a virtual Application Workshop will be held on 25 March 2026, offering guidance on the initiative, eligibility criteria, and the application process. Interested participants are encouraged to register in advance.

The deadline for submissions is 17 April 2026 at 12:00 noon (Paris time), with applications to be submitted via the Goethe Application Portal (GAP).
