FNB Temporarily Closes Industrial Branch, Advises Clients on Alternative Banking Options. First National Bank Botswana (FNBB) has announced the temporary closure of its Industrial Branch until further notice, including the automatic teller machines located in front of the branch.
In a notice to clients, the bank advised customers to make alternative arrangements for their banking needs while the branch remains closed. FNBB said clients can access services at the Main Branch or make use of nearby CashPlus agents situated in surrounding areas.
The bank listed several CashPlus agents available to assist clients along Old Lobatse Road, including Jumbo, Trans, Trans Express, Brandomin (Pty) Ltd, and Choppies. Additional agents are located in Bontleng at Choppies, Momeer Pty Ltd, and Plus14 Supermarket, as well as Tops Dry Cleaning in White City.
FNBB further encouraged clients to make use of its digital banking platforms during the temporary closure. These include the FNB App, Online Banking, and Cellphone Banking services. Clients may also continue using self-service platforms such as ATMs and the designated CashPlus agents for routine transactions.
According to the bank, technical teams are actively working to address the issue that led to the closure. FNBB said updates will be communicated to clients once services at the Industrial Branch are restored.
The bank apologised for any inconvenience caused and thanked clients for their understanding and cooperation during the period of disruption.
FNBB reiterated its commitment to ensuring continuity of service by providing multiple alternative banking channels. The bank said it remains focused on maintaining access to essential banking services for clients while work is underway to reopen the affected branch.
Clients seeking further information have been advised to visit the Main Branch or use FNBB’s digital platforms for the latest updates regarding branch operations.
