Tsodilo Resources Confirms High-Grade Rare Earth and Critical Minerals at Gcwihaba Project in Botswana. Tsodilo Resources Limited has announced the verification of significant critical minerals and rare earth element mineralisation at its wholly owned Gcwihaba Metals Project in northwest Botswana. The company, which is listed on the TSX Venture Exchange in Canada, confirmed the results this week following ongoing exploration activities at the site.

According to the company, the C26 and C27 targets at Gcwihaba were first identified as geophysical anomalies through ground magnetic and gravity surveys. Subsequent diamond core drilling confirmed skarn-hosted rare earth element mineralisation occurring at depths of approximately 20 to 50 metres below surface.

Exploration results indicate that the skarns and nearby targets host a polymetallic assemblage. This includes fifteen rare earth elements alongside critical minerals such as copper, cobalt, nickel, vanadium, and silver. Tsodilo reported that the highest grade recorded to date at Gcwihaba was a 1.49 percent total rare earth oxide intercept at the C27 target.

The company stated that its exploration model suggests a polymetallic rare earth element skarn system with both vertical extent and grade continuity. In addition to rare earth elements, drilling has returned base and precious metal values, including copper grades of up to 0.41 percent, cobalt up to 320 parts per million, and silver values reaching 5.1 grams per tonne.

To date, Tsodilo has completed twelve NQ-size diamond drill holes across the C26 and C27 targets, totalling 3,303 metres. Of the 1,612 diamond core samples analysed from nine drill holes, 76 percent returned detectable rare earth element mineralisation. Four drill holes delivered high-grade rare earth intercepts, with the highest recorded at C27.

Tsodilo Resources Limited operates in Botswana through its subsidiary, Gcwihaba Resources (Pty) Limited. The company holds a 100 percent interest in five prospecting licences covering base metals, precious metals, platinum group metals, and rare earth elements in Botswana’s North-West District.
