Botswana Digital and Innovation Hub Invites Citizen-Owned Firms for Grounds and Garden Maintenance Tender. The Botswana Digital and Innovation Hub (BDIH) has opened a new tender opportunity for local businesses, inviting 100% citizen-owned companies to bid for a 36-month service contract for grounds and garden maintenance at its Science and Technology Park, Plot No. 69184 in Gaborone.
Announced under Tender Reference No. BHIP 001-12.11.2025/26, the procurement is reserved exclusively for citizen-owned enterprises registered with the Public Procurement Regulatory Authority (PPRA) under Code 137: Gardening & Landscaping Services, and Sub-code 01: Gardening, Landscaping and Maintenance.
The initiative aligns with Botswana’s broader goal of promoting citizen economic empowerment and supporting the growth of local small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). The long-term nature of the contract offers sustainable business prospects for local landscaping and maintenance service providers, while ensuring BDIH’s campus environment continues to meet world-class standards.
The submission deadline for tender offers is 10:00 AM on 26 November 2025, with bids to be submitted electronically via Dropbox. Late submissions will not be considered. Interested companies are encouraged to ensure all registration and compliance documents are in order before submission.
