Botswana Institutional Investors Series 2025 Showcases Growth Through Alternative Assets. The 4th Annual Botswana Institutional Investors Series 2025 opened this week at the Royal Aria Convention Centre in Tlokweng, Gaborone, bringing together leading voices in finance, policy, and investment. Held under the theme “Allocating to Alternative Assets – Infrastructure and Other Key Enablers of Sustainable Growth,” the two-day conference runs from 17–18 September 2025.

The event has positioned itself as a premier platform for institutional investors, asset managers, and policy stakeholders to exchange insights on building resilient economies through infrastructure and other alternative assets. With Botswana steadily diversifying its economy, the discussions highlight opportunities for both local and regional investors to align strategies with long-term sustainable growth.

Among the participating exhibitors and delegates are leading financial institutions showcasing their expertise and solutions designed to support transformative investments. The platform encourages knowledge-sharing, collaboration, and innovative thinking to unlock new pathways for capital allocation, particularly in sectors that drive economic resilience.

Later this evening, the conference will also celebrate excellence in the investment community at its awards ceremony. Nominees will compete in four categories: Institutional Investor of the Year, Woman in Finance Excellence, Infrastructure Investment Champion, and Lifetime Achievement in Investments. These awards serve to recognize outstanding contributions that continue to shape Botswana’s financial and investment landscape.

By combining thought leadership with recognition of excellence, the Botswana Institutional Investors Series has reinforced its role as a vital meeting point for stakeholders dedicated to advancing sustainable economic growth. As the country embraces infrastructure and alternative asset opportunities, the Series provides a timely space for dialogue, strategy, and partnership-building.
