Travelodge Gaborone Hosts Zimbabwean Cyclist Duo Highlighting Botswana’s Tourism Potential. Travelodge Gaborone welcomed Zimbabwean cycling couple Thando Tshuma Vlogs and Vusumuzi MC Official yesterday, marking the start of a two-night stay aimed at promoting adventure and sustainable tourism. The visit, facilitated by the Botswana Tourism Organisation (BTO), offered the couple an opportunity to experience Gaborone’s hospitality and explore the city’s landmarks.

Travelodge Gaborone, part of a locally-owned hotel group alongside Room50Two, Oasis Motel, Kalahari Arms Hotel, and Travelodge Kasane, showcased its facilities including 115 fully-equipped rooms, conferencing spaces for up to 600 delegates, a full-service restaurant, a poolside bar, swimming pool, complimentary Wi-Fi, and secure parking. The hotel’s reputation for service excellence and strategic location continues to make it a preferred choice for both business and leisure travellers.

During their stay, the cycling duo toured Gaborone under the guidance of BTO, visiting iconic sites such as the Three Chiefs Monument, National Museum, Sir Seretse Khama International Airport, and Main Mall Market. These excursions provided an immersive experience of Botswana’s history, culture, and urban vibrancy, enabling the couple to share authentic local narratives with their international audience.

Travelodge Gaborone’s hosting of the couple is part of a broader effort to position Botswana as a premier destination for tourism and adventure travel. For entrepreneurs in Botswana, such initiatives highlight the importance of leveraging local hospitality assets and partnerships to attract global audiences while promoting sustainable travel experiences.

The couple will check out tomorrow, continuing their journey across Botswana at Indaba Lodge and Hilton Garden Inn. Travelodge Gaborone extended best wishes for the remainder of their visit, emphasizing the value of collaborative efforts in showcasing Botswana to the world.
