Zimbabwe Cyclist Couple Experiences Mokolodi’s Natural Treasures Through Botswana Tourism Collaboration. Botswana’s tourism and business sectors joined hands to offer Zimbabwean cyclists, Thando Tshuma Vlogs and Vusumuzi MC Official, a memorable experience at Mokolodi Nature Reserve. The visit, facilitated by the Botswana Tourism Organisation (BTO) in partnership with Priority Travels, showcased the country’s natural beauty while highlighting the value of strategic partnerships in promoting Botswana as a destination of choice.

Located just outside Gaborone, Mokolodi Nature Reserve provided the couple with an immersive game drive, where they encountered diverse wildlife and enjoyed the tranquillity of Botswana’s natural environment. Such experiences continue to strengthen the nation’s reputation for offering world-class eco-tourism opportunities.

Priority Travels played a key role in ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience, providing logistical support through its Priority Shuttles & Events service. Their offerings include airport transfers, city and village tours, intercity travel, corporate shuttling, and VIP ushering for events such as weddings and private functions.

The cyclists’ Botswana journey also celebrated the country’s culinary culture. At the local eatery Mmammidi, they enjoyed a complimentary lunch featuring traditional flavours, joined by BTO Acting Marketing Manager – Promotions, Ms. Messiah Matolela. This showcased the importance of Botswana’s hospitality industry in complementing the tourism experience.

In a display of community unity, the Zimbabwean community in Botswana hosted a fundraising event in honour of the couple. The gesture underscored the strong ties between neighbouring nations and demonstrated how cultural exchange can strengthen business and tourism connections.

For Botswana entrepreneurs and tourism operators, this collaboration highlights the potential of leveraging partnerships to attract visitors, create memorable experiences, and promote the country’s offerings to a wider audience. Such initiatives not only boost tourism but also create ripple effects for local businesses.
