MVA Fund Opens Tender for Medical Advisory Services, Exclusively for Citizen-Owned Firms. The Motor Vehicle Accident (MVA) Fund has officially invited 100% citizen-owned businesses in Botswana to tender for the provision of Medical Advisory Services under a three-year contract, in a move designed to empower local professionals and enhance healthcare-related support services.
Announced under Tender Reference No: RFP-09-2025, the opportunity falls under open domestic bidding and is strictly reserved for fully citizen-owned companies. Interested bidders must be registered under the prescribed PPRA consultancy codes: Code 317 (Other Consultancy Services – Health Consultancy) or Code 322 (Health Care Consulting Services – Clinical).
The MVA Fund stated that the medical advisory services will support its core mandate of rehabilitation, compensation, and road safety services for accident victims in Botswana. This contract aims to strengthen the Fund’s clinical decision-making and enhance the quality of care delivered to beneficiaries.
The tender documents are available at a non-refundable fee of P150.00, while youth-owned businesses can obtain them for P75.00 VAT inclusive upon proof of registration.
The deadline for submission is Tuesday, 19 August 2025 at 1500hrs.
