Mophato Dance Theatre Gears Up for South Korea with Special Double Bill at Maitisong. Botswana’s internationally recognised Mophato Dance Theatre, in collaboration with Kreative Koncept Kola, will host a special three-night showcase at Maitisong Theatre from 24 to 26 July 2025. The event, presented as a fundraising performance, is aimed at supporting the company’s upcoming journey to the prestigious World Dance Festival in South Korea.

The programme features two of Mophato’s celebrated productions, INYAYA and BORWA. Both pieces explore Botswana’s layered history through powerful movement and storytelling, offering audiences a chance to witness locally rooted, globally resonant performances.
