Entrepreneurs Invited to Trade at Khawa Dune Challenge & Cultural Festival 2025. Local entrepreneurs are being given a prime opportunity to showcase their culinary offerings at one of Botswana’s most anticipated annual events — the Khawa Dune Challenge & Cultural Festival, taking place from 27–29 June 2025 in Khawa Village.
Organisers are inviting food and beverage vendors to secure their stalls for a fee of P350, allowing them to serve thousands of festival-goers expected to attend the three-day celebration in the desert.
Positioned as Botswana’s biggest desert festival, the Khawa Dune Challenge blends adventure, culture, and commerce, drawing large crowds from across the country. Traders can choose to set up food stalls, kiosks, or mobile carts, with the goal of adding flavour and refreshment to the high-energy atmosphere of the event.
With limited spaces available, vendors are encouraged to secure their bookings early by contacting 76598418 or 72962191. The affordable stall fee offers small business owners, street food vendors, and upcoming culinary brands a valuable platform to promote their products to a diverse and high-traffic audience.
For Botswana entrepreneurs, especially those in the food and hospitality sectors, the Khawa Dune Challenge provides more than just visibility. It offers direct access to a wide market, opportunities for customer engagement, and the chance to network with other businesses and event partners.
The festival is supported by the Ministry of Youth, Gender, Sport and Culture, the National Arts Council, and other tourism and community development stakeholders. It continues to play a key role in promoting rural tourism, local enterprise development, and cultural appreciation.
