BITC to Kick Off 2025 National Roadshow to Promote Services and Global Expo Botswana. The Botswana Investment and Trade Centre (BITC) is set to launch its 2025 National Roadshow on May 6 at Cresta Lodge in Gaborone. This nationwide initiative is designed to connect with the public, highlight BITC’s service offerings, and build momentum for the upcoming Global Expo Botswana (GEB) 2025.

Organized in collaboration with selected parastatals, hotels, and retail partners, the roadshow will serve as a platform to inform and engage citizens on various trade and investment opportunities supported by BITC. It also provides a unique opportunity for local businesses and entrepreneurs to interact directly with retailers and learn about product listing requirements and other entry points into the formal retail sector.

According to BITC, the roadshow aims to raise awareness across multiple towns and cities, encouraging participation in Botswana’s growing economic landscape. It also seeks to showcase the country’s potential ahead of GEB 2025—one of Botswana’s premier international trade and investment events.

The initiative falls under the broader #PushaBW campaign, which promotes local products and services with the goal of increasing citizen economic participation. Through its outreach, BITC hopes to foster collaboration between local producers, service providers, and major retailers, ultimately strengthening domestic value chains.

With the first stop in Gaborone, the roadshow is expected to continue across various regions, bringing together key players in the business ecosystem and creating a platform for dialogue, partnership, and growth.
